It’s still winter weather this week. A piercing east wind, force 6 wind and a wind chill of around -12. The sun tries to break through now and then. A whole difference with years ago when you could sit nice outside half of March. I have still a vague recollection of it. Enough reason to prepare a warm dish, don’t you think so?
I open the oven and see that the colors of the oven dish have the colores of the smocks which a lot of Olympic sport people wore during their competitions. Most with the color orange. Just as the color of the sweet potato in this oven dish, full of vegetables and with tofu. Baked together in the warm oven.
Serve some on a dish and take a bite of the steaming sweet potato, the colored bell pepper and the sweet cherry tomatoes.

Esa semana todavía es tiempo de invierno. Un viento cortante, fuerza 6 y sensaciones térmicas unas de – 12. El sol prueba escampar de cuando en cuando. Una toda diferencia con haces años cuando te sentaste afuera bueno en medio marzo. Me lo recuerdo vagamente todavía. Suficiente razón para hacer un plato caliente, ¿tú no opinas lo mismo?
Abro el horno y miro que los colores de plato preparando en el horno tienen los colores de los blusones aquellas de las deportistas olímpicas llevaban durante sus competiciones. Generalmente, el color de naranja. Como el color de la batata en ese plato preparando en el horno. Juntos han cocido en un horno caliente.
Saca algo en un plato y toma un bocado de batata humeante , pimiento coloreado y los tomates cherry dulces.

Het is deze week nog winterweer. Een snijdende oostenwind, windkracht 6 en een gevoelstemperatuur van rond -12. De zon probeert zo nu en dan door te breken. Een heel verschil met jaren geleden toen je half maart al lekker buiten kon zitten. Ik kan het me nog vaag herinneren. Genoeg reden om een warm gerecht te maken, vind je ook niet?
Ik open de oven en zie dat de kleuren van ovenschotel veel weg hebben van de kleuren van de hesjes die veel Olympische sporters tijdens hun wedstrijden aanhadden. Veelal de kleur oranje. Net zo als de kleur van de zoete aardappel in deze ovenschotel, vol met groente en met tofu. Samen gebakken in de warme oven.
Schep wat op een bord en neem een hap van de dampende zoete aardappel, de gekleurde paprika en zoete cherry tomaten.
